The Client

Moringa School is a coding school that teaches high-potential young people in Africa the necessary skills to become world-class developers.

The Challenge

Teach a class of Moringa students how to create a data driven visualization using modern web development technologies and concepts.

The Outcome

Over the course of a day long workshop, we taught a room of 30 students the basics of front end web development and data visualization using the D3.js JavaScript library. By the end of the day, the students were able to obtain and visualize their own data sets.
